I was exhausted today. Really exhausted. Went to Drake to see a few students and worked on my to-do list and that was it. Exhausted.
Kentucky Ginkgo twins are really growing! They are three years old.

Leaving Chicago today. Long 7 hour trip home on train, plane, and automobile.

I don't want to ever forget this day. Presented a paper with Jes. Standing room only. Great reception. Ran out of papers to distribute. Handed out 20 business cards. Jes was a pro!

We took the train from Milwaukee to Chicago. Worked on our paper and presentation for two days. Psyched!

I finished the bag I knitted today and started felting it in my mom's industrial mixer. My grandmother died today. I started knitting this bag while visiting her. Now it serves as a tangible memory.

I planted about 40 bulbs in this area in the backyard today. Did a little yard work and some shopping at Walmart and the yarn store.

Frisbee got a new memory foam bed and it's taking some getting used to. Our landscape designer came out today to see about some new plants and we saw this mushroom in the garden. It's a basket stinkhorn.

Dinner at Live Oaks was pretty good. Hamburger with lots of stuff on top and really good fries. We were celebrating the Texas order tonight.
