When we were in Denver waiting on baby J's birth, I made little figures while sitting on the big chair and watching TV every night. Here they are fired...

When baby J was born, I smooshed his feet into some clay and brought it home. Here it is, fired, with a cobalt wash rubbed into it.

I stopped blogging on December 31st, 2020 and just now, in July, realize how much I miss it- so I'm going to try and catch up. This was a loaf of Challah bread that I made. I can tell from photos at this time that I was doing work on my Jewish genealogy and wanted to try to make Challah for Friday night.

My sweet grandson, Baby J. Jes sent me this photo today of him at 1 month old. He looks more grown up than he did just four days ago. He is smiling now,,,, and I hope to see him very soon.
Today Dan and I cleaned the house and I got my office livable again.

Elvis Presley's birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi.
We walked around the grounds this morning then took off for home. Arrived shortly after noon. The cats remembered us!

What a lovely day. Breakfast of baked French Toast, presents, and a walk around town.
Then family photos!

Christmas Eve.
We had ham, roasted root veggies, roasted brussels sprouts, ginger cake, challah, and potato tienne.
I stayed home with the Js today while the other five went skiing.

Jes and Jef got here. They are exhausted.
Baby J got a look at his image in my phone.... and found it to be interesting!

Today I took care of J all night long because Jes had to go to the hospital. She was hemorrhaging and needed surgery to stop it. We are so fortunate that she got help in time. It was very scary.
J has a stuffy nose, so I went to Target to
get him some Boogie Drops. Tomorrow we leave for our house in the mountains!
