2005 was a particularly bad year in a string of three bad years I would like to forget. In December 2005 I learned that my cancer was gone, and I started to celebrate life again. 2006 was great. When it was over, I realized I'd forgotten it. Dan gave me a camera for Christmas that year and I decided not to forget another day. On January 1, 2007 I started this blog so that I would remember my life. It has worked.

I am a mother of three grown children, grandmother to five, wife of over 40 years, a retired professor, a potter, a knitter and an artist, just trying to make my way in this world... one day, one photo at a time. Almost 20 years of my life are documented here and I welcome your comments!

My primary camera used to be a Nikon D50 however now I use my iPhone camera when I'm out and about and my new Nikon D7100.
