My sunflower is SO tall! I've got cotton and zinnias in there too.

7-18-21

I bought this bed from someone for $100 and really like how it dresses up the guest room.

7-16-21

the cats approve of the reupholstered couch. Now to keep them from scratching it to pieces.

7-15-21

not sure I like how the cats turned out.

7-13-21

I decided to go back on WW, weighing 159 this morning.

7-10-21

Today was epic. We took Sakura and her boys to the airport in Atlanta but they missed their flight. This train, an accident on I-85, and long lines in security caused it. So, we waited around ATL for 5 hours and then brought them back to Auburn to spend another night.

7-9-21

Me and Sakura in the backyard!

7-9-21

I felt well enough to work on my couch some more and finished the cushions.

7-7-21

We got home last night and today I went to see my sisters at my mom's house. They were eating smoked salmon. It's not a great picture,  but it's what I have.

7-6-21

Baby J and his great grandma in the chair that belonged to his great great grandmother.

7-5-21

Today Jes turns 35. Do you think she looks like her baby J?

7-4-21

It's the fourth of July. I'm wearing a shirt I just finished hand sewing. J is wearing a new outfit!

7-3-21

I took J outside into the grass for a photo session. He is wearing a new outfit I bought him.

7-2-21

Dinner tonight at Dan's brother's house and we got a photo of four generations. Dan's parents, us, Jes and Jef and J.

7-1-21

It looks like we are at the Caribbean, but we are actually at Lake Michigan. It was chilly as we walked along the side of it at a park today. Me, Dan, Jes, Baby J, Jef, Panda, and MIL.

7-1-21

Baby J trying to drink from a mug I made...

6-30-21

Squirt and Panda arrived also... and we taught Panda how to play dominoes.

6-30-21

7 months old. On the verge of crawling...

6-29-21

See how happy I am?

6-28-21

Yay! It's Baby J!

This is the cat that was his grandfather's favorite toy.... Who knew it would be played with by three generations. I'm SO happy to be with my baby grand!

6-27-21

Here we are at Dan's parents' house. Jes and J are arriving tomorrow!

6-26-21

We landed in Milwaukee today. On the way from the airport to Dan's parents' house, we stopped at Kopps for a burger!

6-25-21

My mom wanted me to make her a coffee mug that fit under her coffee maker, but also fit in the cup holder in her car, and was also light. I got 2 out of 3. It doesn't fit in her cup holder. But, it's cute!

6-24-21

We are leaving soon for Milwaukee, but before I go, I wanted to make these cats for Sta. She is opening a cat-themed business, and wanted some cat items for her store. Here's Grayson admiring them.

6-22-21

I took some time away from upholstering to teach my nephews, Buddy and Fossie, how to make cheese. It did not turn out well!

6-18-21

More progress. I can't believe I'm doing this.

6-17-21

Some pieces are done. Dan borrowed a compressor and bought me a hand staple gun that hooks up to it. That should help, because the staple gun we had was killing my hand.

6-16-21

I decided to reupholster the couch, and actually bought the fabric in Anniston when we were there last week. Here I am prying one of thousands of staples out. It was quite difficult and ended up hurting my wrist such that I had to have it in a cast for a week.

6-13-21

I made some little cat figurines for Baby J that spell his name. Here he is playing with them on FaceTime with me!

6-11-21

My first craft fair in a long time. I only had this little folding table... and the bin below... but sold almost $500 worth of mugs!

6-10-21

We got home from our trip up north and I unloaded the kiln. These beauties were waiting for me!
